At the request of many of our guests who wanted to enjoy riding around the many quiet country lanes and tracks in the surrounding area, but did not have enough room on their cars to bring cycles over with them, we are now offering a new fleet of mountain bikes for rent.
There are a total of 10 new mountain bikes to choose from; Six for adults and four for children. These are available at the nominal rental cost of just £14 per bike per week; just £2/bike/day.
The cycling package provides enjoyment for the entire family and is just great for a gentle bike ride across the open countryside. Why not plan upon a family expedition to the local lakes for a lunchtime picnic! The lack of any heavy traffic and use of farm tracks allows for great peace and safety.
For the ladies the Dunlop Sunrise, part of the Dunlop Signature Series, comes complete with easy to use 18 speed twist grip gears, and a rather striking paint finish. Show the boys how it’s done!
For the men the Dunlop Interceptor is built with quality in mind. This also has 18 speed twist grip gears, 26” alloy wheels and powerful twin disc brakes. This bike weighs 16 Kg and is just perfect for blasting down the trails!
For the girls and boys there is the Dunlop Velocity & Breeze Mountain Bikes. These have rigid steel frames, 6 speed twist grip gears, powerful front and rear V-brakes and 20” alloy wheels. These bikes are recommended for ages of approx 7-10 years and weigh approx 12kgs.
Your safety and security is naturally our prime concern and therefore bicycle safety helmets are provided for our guests use in both junior (52-56 cm) and adult (56-60cm) sizes and we would urge you to use these at all times when enjoying the use of the mountain bikes. High security combination locks are also provided for you to secure the bikes when not in use.
